If this question has already been asked, feel free to ignore it: I was talking with Hilde Pederson about your song The Chosen, and we both came up with the question -- does the song have anything to do with the infamous Ed Gein? Many of the lyrics seem to hint that it may be, but I've never seen an official statement that it is or is not. One example: "Then the lampshade smiled at me" = Ed Gein made a lampshade out of a human face.

There's an Australian piano player/singer over here in England named Tim Minchin. He's a comedy song writer and a brilliant pianist. His songs can be everything from jokey to relatively dark. Trent Price: I HAVE been answering the questions. But you can't expect I will answer then all at once. Alright, this has bugged me since i first heard the song Ex lovers lover. Starting with the first chorus there seems to be a second voice with yours. Its kind of a deeper whisper in the background and is in all the choruses except the last. Was this a second vocal track? Just an echo? A second singer? Just a cool effect u felt like adding during editing? Did the devil himself sit in on that recording and felt like helping out?

As someone who happened to have started listening to your music near the beginning and whose way of thinking and style mirrored that of what you speak of, and has sat and analyzed every song, due to my own personal cynical sense of reasoning, I have to ponder just two single questions: One, out of all the songs you've written and preformed, if you had to chose one, just one, as the stand out explanation of who you are, which song would you pick? Not which song the fans represent or crave the most, but which one you stand by the most. Secondly, I've read through a few of yuor books (actually had you sign the inside of Paint It Black back in Chicago last December), and through what you've written I wanted to write a book based upon my own life and adventures of being the last Goth in the town I live in, would you recommend even attempting the idea, or should I save my scribblings for my own personal memoirs.
